The webinar took a deep dive into the pivotal role of digital infrastructure in effectively managing and operating Urban Air Mobility (UAM) vertiports. Our esteemed panel of experts explored a spectrum of technical demands, including connectivity, data management, airspace integration, and security – all crucial elements for ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Panelists:
Anthony Tezla -Manager, State Local Partnerships at Supernal, shared insights into the ecosystem requirements for city activation and vertiports, drawing on their expertise as an aircraft OEM.
Ty Le Roy – Founder and Co-owner of NAVOS Air, provided valuable contributions on instrument approach to vertiports, covering on-and-off airport and heliport-to-vertiports considerations.
Ian Coutts – Aviation Consultant at Arcadis, discussed the perspective of airport and vertiport design, emphasizing the implementation principles required for seamless integration.
Chris Hill – Senior Director of Safety at Helicopter Association International, offered insights into the crewed to uncrewed aviation perspective, painting a broader picture of safety considerations.
Brent Klavon – Chief Strategy Officer at ANRA Technologies, brought forth the perspective of digital infrastructure, shedding light on the Vertiport Management System and Provider Services for Urban Air Mobility (PSU).
