ANRA UTM Powers NY State UAS Corridor

The Northeast UAS Airspace Integration Research Alliance (NUAIR), along with its partners, works to advance unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) research. NUAIR manages operations at one of seven federally designated UAS test sites in the United States, and is at the forefront of public policy development, commercialization, and safe integration of UAS into the National Airspace System (NAS).

NUAIR Alliance is currently building one of the first UAS Traffic Management test corridor for beyond visual line-of-sight testing. The test corridor will run between Syracuse and Griffiss International Airport, an FAA-designated national UAS test site located in Rome, NY.

As part of this initiative, NUAIR and Griffiss have partnered with ANRA as one of the UTM Platform providers to enable safe integration on UAS into the national airspace for operations at scale.

“Adding the ANRA UTM platform compliments the NY UAS test sight and strengthens our position as the most capable test site in the nation” said Major General Marke F. “Hoot” Gibson, chief executive officer of the NUAIR Alliance.  “NUAIR continues to lead the way behind the support of NY State and the region in making NY the global center for UAS innovation”

ANRA’s platform supports integrated airspace management. The platform includes features such as flight planning and monitoring, command and control, separation assurance, airspace management, tracking of drones, compliance, reporting, stakeholder and operator portals and open interfaces to enable capabilities like Remote ID and support integration into National Airspace Systems. The platform is designed to integrate both cooperative and non-cooperative UAS into the UTM system and to handle the strategic de-confliction leveraging a variety of on and off board sensor data sources.

UTM Platforms like DroneUSS™ are proving that they can keep multiple aircraft safe while successfully deconflicting and prioritizing even when the unexpected happens. The closer we get to the elements of a functional and robust UTM system, the closer the world gets to true drone integration and widespread enterprise adoption of drone technology

“This project is a significant step forward towards the advancement of  research and development for safe UAS integration by NUAIR,  and we at ANRA are proud to be a part of this initiative in the state of New York”,  said Amit Ganjoo, CEO ANRA Technologies

ANRA Technologies in headquartered in North America with operations in Asia and Europe. ANRA technology and platforms have enabled safe drone operations in all these markets . To learn more about our capabilities, please contact any member of our team.
