ANRA Technologies at GUTMA Harmonized Skies 2024
At the GUTMA Harmonized Skies 2024 event in Texas, held from November 13-15, ANRA Technologies played a pivotal role in showcasing unified Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations. This landmark event brought together industry leaders, including Manna Drone Delivery, Wing, Zipline, DroneUp, the FAA, Arlington Police Department, and NASA Ames, to demonstrate the first-ever unified BVLOS operations, marking a significant milestone in airspace management.
For the first time, both public safety and commercial drone operators shared airspace, utilizing multiple UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) systems. This demonstration represented a major leap forward in the development of airspace management systems. We are incredibly proud that our UTM platform was instrumental in enabling these live operations.
ANRA’s NOON UTM system provided critical coordination for both the Arlington Police Department and Manna Drone Delivery, supporting the first-ever public safety and commercial drone operations within shared airspace. Meanwhile, Wing operated on its own vertically integrated UTM platform, further showcasing the interoperability of different systems.
During the event, ANRA CEO Amit Ganjoo participated in a panel discussion on data exchange and governance, where we discussed how standardized practices and efficient data sharing are driving the industry forward. By fostering trust and enabling interoperability, we are collectively paving the way for safer and more efficient drone operations.
