Amit Ganjoo Appointed to the FAA’s Advanced Aviation Advisory Committee

ANRA Technologies Founder and CEO, Amit Ganjoo, was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Transportation to the Advanced Aviation Advisory Committee (AAAC). Formerly known as the Drone Advisory Committee (DAC), the AAAC is a broad-based federal advisory committee that provides independent advice and recommendations to the FAA on key unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and advanced air mobility (AAM) integration issues, interests and policies. Amit’s appointment is for two years to a committee of 41 members, and he will represent the viewpoint of navigation, communication, surveillance, and air traffic management capability providers.

The AAAC’s work relates to the efficiency and safety of integrating advanced aviation technologies into the National Airspace System (NAS) — while equipping and enabling communities to inform how UAS, AAM, and other technologies may operate in ways that are least impactful to those communities. In response to FAA requests, the AAAC may provide the FAA and Department of Transportation with information that may be used for tactical and strategic planning purposes.

Amit looks forward to lending his expertise and experience in developing uncrewed technologies deployed in airspace around the world.
