ANRA Technologies Wins Another U-Space Contract in Europe

ANRA Technologies is proud to be selected by Europe’s Single European Sky’s ATM Research (SESAR) for a Joint Undertaking Digital Sky Demonstrator to share EUR 47 million funding to accelerate the market uptake of solutions for greener aviation and urban air mobility (UAM).  ANRA is a partner in an EU consortium for a project called U-ELCOME (U-space European COMmon dEpLoyment) that over a span of three years will conduct demonstrations in various operational environments and locations across Spain, Italy, and France. The demonstration activities will address the interface with the air traffic management system to ensure safe and fair access to airspace for all airspace users.

U-ELCOME will aim to develop a scalable U-space architecture enabling the required level of information exchange and coordination among U-space service providers (USSPs) and between USSPs and Air Traffic Management (ATM) using interoperable standards, allowing for automated drone traffic management and situational awareness among all U-space stakeholders.

ANRA is honored to have been selected for this award that allows continued development of our portfolio of solutions that can be deployed internationally, providing UAM digital solutions for airspace management and vertiport automation services. Continue reading below for the official project description.
