Three Years of UK Open Access UTM Development Concludes
ANRA Technologies concluded a United Kingdom engagement with Connected Places Catapult (CPC) in a Department for Transport (DfT) sponsored project to research UAS Traffic Management (UTM) solutions. CPC, in collaboration with the DfT, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and industry stakeholders have developed a national UTM framework called Open-Access UTM (OUTM). Since 2018, ANRA has participated in workshops, technical specifications development, and architectural design work that ultimately led to deployment of our ANRATM airspace management platform to support OUTM simulated and live flight trials in February 2021.
ANRA is proud to have been one of the only entities that have been engaged in all three phases of the project since its inception.
“It is great to see a successful wrap-up of this multi year project and we at Team ANRA are excited to have been able to work with CPC and other stakeholders to see this to fruition.” said Brent Klavon, Vice President Operations at ANRA Technologies.
