ANRA Technologies Powering UK Airspace Integration of Drones in support of COVID response Pathfinder Program
The UK Government Drones Pathfinder Programme has announced an additional Pathfinder project in which ANRA Technologies will play a key enablement role.
This project will develop, test, and deliver a UTM platform integrated with today’s existing air traffic management systems operating in the UK. It will provide complete situational awareness with positioning, detect and avoid capabilities to drone operators as well as manned aircraft, enabling safe and compliant BVLOS UAS operations alongside conventional air traffic.
ANRA’s ANRA airspace management platform will power the program with participation from project partners Trax International, UAvionix, and Plane Finder. The initial trials will be hosted by The Aviation Innovation Centre, Goodwood and will also involve Skyports and Auriga Aerospace.
This project is partly funded by UK Research and Innovation: Drone solutions for COVID-19 with a completion date in November 2021.
