InterDrone 2017 Las Vegas Wrapup
Last week was hectic, fun and exciting as the ANRA team landed in Las Vegas to attend and exhibit at the InterDrone 2017 show. InterDrone is the premiere commercial drone conference and expo for Unmanned Systems, UAV, UAS, and UVS.
This year was a great show and we saw a lot more first time aspiring service providers walking the show trying to soak in all the information available. The show had more content than last year and as usual we bumped into a lot of the familiar faces, made new friends, had more coffee and drinks than ever before albeit while having great discussions.
There were around 4,000 attendees from 59 countries and the 50 U.S. states, 300+ media and some 175 exhibitors at the show. During the show ANRA Technologies, announced the release of DroneOSS 2.0 and our CEO Amit Ganjoo spoke on the Big Data Panel along with folks from AIRMAP, Precision Hawk and Propeller.
The panel focused on the aspects of
- Volume – scale of the data
- Variety – different forms
- Velocity – time to process and interpret
- Veracity – separating the signal from the noise
- Complexity – need to link, match, cleanse and transform the variety of data
At the show the message that reverberated undoubtedly was the fact that it is not about just the drone anymore but an amalgamation of workflow orchestration and the data management integration.
Both these fall completely in line with our sweet spots which might explain why our booth was packed almost all three days.
